Theme Exhibition of Geological Processes and Phenomena

      Nature always chooses to tell you in its own way what has happed and what will happen on the Earth.

      Realistic principles are applied to deduce ‘what was’ in the past from what we see today. This helps people deduce the past in a reasonable way by making sense of what remains for us to see at present and analyze the various causes that lead to the present inorganic and organic worlds. Presentation, observation and analysis of various geological phenomena enables us to identify and recreate the complex processes that took place a very long time ago so that we can gain an insight into the past, reconstruct the history, scout for resources and protect the Earth.

      Our collection of items include: structures formed by internal dynamic processes such as fold, fracture, joint, pahoe-hoe lava, volcanic bomb, volcanic rubble, amygdule, alaskite, cones, banded structure and schistosity structure, etc.; and structures formed by external dynamic processes such as spherical weathering, differential weathering, differential corrosion, differential abrasion, stratification, oblique stratification, wave ripples, mud crack, trace and concretion, etc.
